GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS HUERTA DEL CURA, CASARABONELA

  1. There is a smoking ban throughout the house. Smoking is allowed outside in the patio. Do not throw cigarette butts on the floor but in the ashtrays provided for that purpose.
  2. When you leave the house, all exterior doors must be locked.
  3. All costs are included in the rental price. We ask you to respect the environment and to use water and energy consciously. Do not leave the air conditioning (for cooling and heating) on unnecessarily. In case of extremely high consumption, we are forced to charge a supplement.
  4. Do not dispose of anything in toilets, bathtubs, washbasins or other drains (no tampons, sanitary towels, diapers, panty liners …). Also do not throw cooking oil, fats, food scraps or chemicals down the drain or into the toilets. This causes serious clogging!
  5. Use the appropriate waste bags for the waste. Keep glass and plastic bottles separate. The garbage bags must be deposited in the waste containers on the public road (the directions are indicated in the house). Do not forget to empty the bins in the rooms, the toilets and the bar.
  6. Pets are not allowed in the house.
  7. Do not open rooms or cabinets that are locked with a key and are therefore intended for private purposes.
  8. Please do not unnecessarily move the furniture and beds.
  9. The beds are made on arrival. Always use linen on the beds. An extra set of linen is available in case of emergency. 
  10. Leave the various remote controls in the area or room where they are to be used.
  11. Make sure you do not cause a nuisance. Avoid noise pollution after 10 PM out of respect for local residents and nature.
  12. Report any imperfections immediately upon arrival and report this within 24 hours so that you are not held liable at the end of your stay. Report any damage during your stay within 24 hours, so that the house can be arranged for the next guests.
  13. You must report any complaints immediately (within 24 hours at the latest) after discovery.
  14. After arriving at the house, you are expected to inform yourself and your party of the escape route, extinguishers and emergency buttons that are present in the house.
  15. Keep emergency exits clear of obstructions. Only use it in case of an emergency.
  16. In addition to these house rules, Dutch law also applies.
  17. On departure, the tenant must leave the house in a decent condition. This means: broom clean, dispose of waste, furniture in its original place (such as on arrival) and crockery stored in the appropriate cupboards. If, after checking, this is not in order, an extra amount will be charged. This amount can be deducted from the deposit.
  18. Arrival / Departure: On the day of arrival, the house is available to you from 3 PM. On departure, we request that you vacate the house before 11 AM.
  19. Inventory: The house is checked for defects and missing items after each stay. The tenants are liable for damage caused by them, fellow tenants or guests. This does not include trivialities, such as broken glass.
  20. Furniture: The furniture of the interior fittings must not be moved or moved outside. Please bring the seat cushions for the garden furniture inside at night and when it rains.
  21. Barbecue: It is free to use if you clean it yourself. Cleaning by our cleaning team costs 50 euros.
  22. We do not rent to youth groups.
  23. You can make a reservation with us by telephone, via the website or by e-mail. We will confirm your reservation and receipt of the deposit within 24 hours by e-mail. Your reservation is then final.
  24. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if you do not comply with the aforementioned payment of deposit. This does not release you from your payment obligations. In the event of cancellation on our part, any monies already paid will be refunded.
  25. We ask for a deposit of € 500, which will be refunded to your account within 2 working days after departure (after inspection by our staff) as soon as everything is in order in the holiday home.
  26. You can cancel free of charge up to 1 week before arrival. If you subsequently decide to cancel, for whatever reason, you owe us compensation. In case of cancellation within 1 week before the arrival date, this amounts to 25% of the total rent.
  27. All costs that arise because you do not deliver the house on time, will be recovered from you. Goods found after your departure will be kept for a reasonable period for you, but we will not take any responsibility for this. Goods can be sent to you at your expense.
  28. Subletting is expressly prohibited. Stay of more people in a holiday home than agreed on the reservation, or than the maximum number that applies to that property, is expressly not permitted without our permission, and can lead to the premature termination of the rental agreement on our part, without refund of rent.
  29. On departure, do not leave any food or other household items in the cupboards (these can hinder cleaning and may attract vermin!). The dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer must be empty on departure.
  30. The lessor has the right to check and inspect the holiday home during the rental period.
  31. If the lessee, his family members, his guests or visitor(s) admitted by him do not or not properly comply with the obligations under the terms and conditions, the rules of conduct, the instructions of the landlord or his deputy or the government regulations, despite any prior warning, and to such an extent that, according to the standards of reasonableness and fairness, the lessor cannot be required to continue the lease, the lessor or the observer designated by him has the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect, and the lessee and to deny co-occupants access to the house, without refund of rent. This emphatically includes not respecting the night’s sleep or causing unnecessary nuisance.
  32. You are advised to inspect the holiday home and the inventory thoroughly on arrival for defects and shortcomings. If you notice damage or defects, you must report this immediately to the manager of the house. If the damage is caused by you and/or is not the result of normal use or wear and tear, we will charge you the repair or replacement costs.
  33. We accept no liability for: Theft, loss or damage of any kind during or as a result of your stay in our holiday home.                
  34. We accept no liability for: The failure or incapacitation of technical equipment, utilities and or facilities of the house.  
  35. We accept no liability for: Calamities, in whatever form, that could make your stay unpleasant.            
  36. We accept no liability for: The lessee is jointly and severally liable for all loss and/or damage to the holiday home, the garden and its furnishings (inside and outside), and/or property of the house, if this is the result of an act or negligence on the part of yourself or of third parties that are located in and around the house with your permission.
  37. Applicability of the rental conditions: if the rental agreement has come into existence (which is the case as soon as we have confirmed your booking; taking an option is not covered here) you agree to the rental conditions. The rental ends automatically after the expiry of the agreed period.
  38. With the reservation, the lessee declares to have read the Terms and Conditions and house rules and to agree with the stipulations therein. The lessee will then receive the confirmation with invoice (by e-mail or/and by post).
  39. Applicable law: the rental agreement is exclusively governed by Spanish law.
